Beaver Creek Golf Club Opens for the Summer Season Friday, May 10

Beaver Creek, Colo., May 8, 2013 – The Beaver Creek Golf Club will open for member and guest play Friday, May 10. Nestled against the slopes of Beaver Creek Mountain and recognized as one of the longest established golf courses in the Vail Valley, the 18-hole championship course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., will offer public play May 10 – June 14, 2013 and Sept. 16 – Oct. 6, 2013. The course will be open to club members and Beaver Creek Resort, Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead guests June 15 – Sept. 15, 2013.

2013 USA Pro Challenge Professional Cycling Race Route Through Beaver Creek Announced

DENVER(April 25, 2013) – The route for the 2013 USA Pro Challenge professional cycling stage race, taking place Aug. 19-25 in Colorado, will take riders on a heart-pounding journey through the breathtaking Colorado Rockies. The largest spectator event in the history of the state, the USA Pro Challenge continues to set records in professional cycling history by taking the riders to unprecedented elevations. In 2012, with a lead change nearly every day, one of the closest professional races in U.S. history came down to the final moments of the Individual Time Trial in Denver, and this year’s route promises to bring just as much drama.
