Photo Alert: Recent Storm Dumped 22 Inches of Powder at Beaver Creek in Five Days; Acreage Doubled with Storm

11 December 2012
Beaver Creek, Colo., Dec. 11, 2012— Following a recent blast of winter at Beaver Creek that resulted in 22 inches of powder in five days, the resort has doubled the amount of terrain open since last Friday and is now offering 457 acres or 25 percent of its terrain, 33 trails and eight main lifts as well as eight beginner surface lifts.

The mountain operations teams including snowmakers, cat operators and ski patrol have been working tirelessly to prepare more terrain and open trails as quickly as possible. Snowmaking continues thanks to frigid temperatures day and night and skiers and snowboarders can find the latest terrain updates at www.beavercreek.com; m.beavercreek.com on a smart phone; like us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/beavercreek or follow us on Twitter at @beavercreekmtn and @BCSkiPatrol.
