02 May 2014
Wolcott, Colo. May 2, 2014 – The majestic Red Sky Golf Club, home to two championship golf courses designed by Tom Fazio and Greg Norman, will open for resort play on Friday, May 9, while member play on the Fazio course is underway. Both courses annually are featured in America’s Top 100 Courses You Can Play and the Fazio course was ranked #45 in Golfweek’s 2014 Top Resort Courses in the Country. Each course offers more than 7,000 yards of high altitude golf set among the drama and grandeur of the Colorado Rockies.
“Red Sky is pleased to welcome our members this week and resort guests next week for our 13th summer season,” said Jeff Hanson, director of golf for Red Sky Ranch.”Following a great winter with plentiful snowfall that benefitted both courses, we’re looking forward to providing our guests with a world class golf experience while also welcoming new groups and offering new events this year.”
New this spring, Eagle County locals have the opportunity to play a limited number of rounds on Red Sky’s guest course for the month of May for $124 per round. Eagle County proof of residency is required.  To book a tee time, call the Red Sky Guest Clubhouse at (970) 754-8425.

The Fazio Course and Norman Course are the 30th and 31st courses in Colorado and the 788th and 799th in the world to receive the honor.
