Kirkwood Mountain Resort is now closed for the summer. During summer operations, Kirkwood offers mountain biking, hiking, disc golf, spectacular scenic alpine views, dining experiences and family-friendly events.
The Kirkwood's renown network of roads and single track lead riders through spectacular terrain high in the Sierra. Advanced riders looking for a challenging cross country ride should check out the Sentinels Trail, intermediate riders should try the Robey Wolfe trail.
Take advantage of world-class hiking and breath-taking views on Kirkwood's trail system. Known for our wildflower meadows filled with puple lupine and yellow cornflower, and for spectacular old growth pines, each trail provides guests opportunities to discover the mountain in solitiude.
Praised by locals and visitors alike as one of the West Coast’s most challenging courses. Play at “DiscWood” is free—simply pick up a scorecard from the General Store, then enjoy an afternoon exploring the mountainside above the Timber Creek base area. Discs and other essentials may be purchased from the General Store.
